Principal Legal Counsel-Employment Relations
Senior Legal Counsel- Employment Relations
Opportunity for experienced employment lawyers to join an in-house team as a trusted advisor on all aspects of employment and industrial relations.
You will be responsible for the provision of high-quality, practical and employment relations legal advice.
You will provide advise on employment law and industrial relations risks, partnering with leaders- guiding them on sensitive issues to resolving disputes, advising on key projects and supporting collective bargaining.
This organisation is large and complex, and this is a great opportunity to take a lead role within the Employment Relations space, often stepping in for the Head of Employment Relations as needed and taking on additional leadership and mentoring responsibilities for the team.
Key Skiils and Experience:
- Qualified lawyer (Barrister and Solicitor)
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience (Principal)
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience (Senior)
- Strength in employment and industrial relations
- Risk management
- Provision of customer-centric solutions
- Excellent communications
- Provision of clear, practical advice
- Ability to work autonomously
- Can build trust relationships
- Can demonstrate sound judgment
