Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of digital products across domains such as Community & Wellbeing, Libraries, Library Systems, and Parks and Leisure.
- Work closely with frontline staff, service users, and community stakeholders to understand needs and define product requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including developers, designers, policy leads, and operations to deliver impactful public services.
- Manage product backlogs, roadmaps, and iterative delivery using Agile methodologies.
- Ensure alignment with public sector procurement practices, data governance, and accessibility standards.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in public sector environments, ideally within local government.
- Demonstrated success delivering digital transformation projects, such as library self-service systems or community booking platforms.
- Strong understanding of how public services are funded, accessed, and delivered across diverse populations.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and user-centred design.
- Familiar with the tools and frameworks required for agile delivery in complex environments.
