As part of Aotearoa New Zealand's response to this crisis, our client has set up a new PMO function to aid in the development and delivery of climate-focussed projects. Working closely with iwi/Māori, central government agencies, local government, industry groups and the private sector, this role will foster and lead new initiatives, approaches and capabilities that affect our envrionment.
This full-time position will join a highly capable team in a crucial stage of development.
To be successful for the role, we are looking for:
- Demonstrable experience in Project Management and stakeholder engagement
- Able to manage risks, issues, monitoring of progress and reporting to senior management
- Have a supportive, engaging and proactive approach to your work
- A solid understanding and experience with project management methodologies, such as Prince2
- Experience in the government sector and a passion for our environment is also highly preferred
