Opportunity to join a dedicated small team comprising of an injury management function and a general wellbeing function, sitting within a wider health safety and security team.
The team are based in multiple locations throughout New Zealand with the two current injury management team members based in Auckland and Christchurch.
This role will be responsible for driving improvements to lift the organisations performance in meeting the Accredited Employer Programme Assessment Requirements- in preparation for an audit in Feb 2026.
It will also share responsibilities for delivering aspects of the day-to-day work programme of the injury management function, including making cover decisions, alongside the other members of the team.
Key requirements of the role include:

At least five years' experience in injury claims management, with a good understanding of mental injury claims.

Comprehensive and practical understanding of ACC legislation, principles and injury management practices.

Ability to co-ordinate return to work and rehabilitation processes in accordance with ACC guidelines.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple competing priorities

Ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences and build and maintain rapport with others
