The role will support the Finance Manager to deliver the highest level of finance related services and contribute to the successful delivery of core operational and strategic objectives

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with preparation of month-end close including journal preparation and processing, general ledger reconciliations, revaluations etc
  • Assist with preparation of accurate and timely monthly management reporting requirements
  • Assist with internal/external audit to provide relevant information to meet reporting obligations and other requirements in a timely manner
  • Preparation of GST, RWT and FBTreturns
  • Assist with income tax return and statutory reporting obligations of the listed entity
  • Backup for trust accounting
  • Preparation of fortnightly and monthly payroll related journals and reconciliations

 

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proficient in a broad range of accounting principles and operational processes across multiple disciplines including financial and performance reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business analysis and support
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent time management skills and able to prioritise
  • Strong commitment to the provision of quality internal and external client service, striving to meet and exceed expectations and requirements of all stakeholders
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Team player that is adaptable and can contribute to change and transformation projects
