- Functional Business Analyst – Data & Reporting Focus
- 6 month contract with potential to extend
- Auckland (Hybrid – 3 Days in Office)
We’re seeking a Functional Business Analyst to join a strategic data migration and reporting project.
If you have strong Power BI experience, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and thrive in complex data environments, this one’s for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements
- Translate business needs into actionable user stories and documentation
- Support the migration of reports from Business Objects to Power BI
- Engage with data governance teams to ensure compliance, quality, and alignment
- Conduct impact analysis, data flow mapping, and gap analysis
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience with Power BI and Business Objects (reporting & admin tools)
- Skilled in SQL and understanding of data models, data flows, and source systems
- Proficient in BI tools, reporting environments, and backlog tools (Azure DevOps / JIRA)
- Demonstrated experience in ensuring data governance, quality, and compliance
