The Role
Reporting to the Auckland Branch and Product Manager this role requires an experienced sales and account focused individual with a very strong understanding of the wholesale electrical industry.
Your role will be to establish and maintain the lighting portfolio working with the company’s existing customer base across commercial and branch leads. You will need a strong understanding of product knowledge, design understanding and be able to provide solutions for a variety of projects.
Key requirements for this role will include:
- Working with the product team closely and across the branch network to develop and grow business
- Participate and assist with sales skills and product training
- Working on developing initiatives and solutions for a wide range of customers
- Work with sales targets to develop current customers and new clients
- Sales with an effective margin focus and experience in pricing and quoting
- Understand the market, monitoring activity, pricing and intelligence
- Previous experience in the lighting sector in a sales or account management role
- Possibly a lighting qualification or electrical background in this area
- Positive, professional upbeat personality
- Understanding the customer culture and standards of the company
