The role works closely with Site Safety and Wellbeing Manager in the identification and application of local/business Safety and Wellbeing needs.
The Safety & Wellbeing Advisor assists in supporting all levels of Site Management with technical and operational Safety and Wellbeing support/oversight.
- Develop strategies to reduce workplace injuries and costs.
- Lead Return to Work and Injury Management activities.
- Develop Risk Assessments and implement improvements identified.
- Support team leaders and members in Safety Management System application.
- Contribute to innovative solutions for injury reduction and safety optimisation.
- Advise on safety improvements and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with Safety service providers and programs.

About you!
- Tertiary qualification in Safety and/or related disciplines
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in site or Safety role
- Sound knowledge of Safety Legislation and Regulatory requirements
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting priorities
- Understanding of Safety Management Systems
