Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Database Administrator to help support the management of our client’s database platform. The ideal candidate will do this by providing database services incorporating best practice design, development, delivery, and maintenance of database solutions to meet business needs.This includes effectively providing technical advice to support development, implementations, maintenance, support production and building effective relationships with key contacts to enable successful implementation of technical strategies.
To be considered you must have:
- Proven experience as Database Administrator with designing, developing, and managing production databases experience
- An in-depth working knowledge and experience with MS SQL. Preference will be given to candidates with exposure to multiple database platforms.
- Ideally have previous experience or certification in Cloud Based Technologies (AWS / Azure)
- Query optimization and performance tuning and Database upgrades and migration to Cloud
- Scripting and Pipelines using Terraform, groovy and similar languages.
- Infrastructure knowledge in Windows and Linux/Unix
- Worked in an Agile organisation before, and be comfortable with Jira.
