About the role:
The Infrastructure Services team sits within the Operations and Infrastructure division providing technical support for core infrastructure services. They have LANs, WANs, Wi-Fi, VMware, LINUX and Microsoft technologies along with a raft of monitoring and security tools.
The role of the Senior Network Engineer, Infrastructure Services is to ensure the core network infrastructure is configured and maintained effectively and continues to provide the necessary network, voice and data centre services as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Have a solid engineering background and possess a strong operational understanding of network technology that enables you to successfully manage complex data networks
- Have demonstrated experience using CISCO/CISO Wi-Fi/Checkpoint/FortiGate/VMware-NSX
- Have sound knowledge of network security, WAN, LAN
- Have prior exposure and knowledge of complex vLans
- Be an excellent communicator both verbally and written with the ability to produce and maintain clear documentation
