Service Desk Analyst

About the Role:

Due to growth – we are looking for a Service Desk Analyst to deliver end-to-end support of business applications and platforms utilising web, phone, remote support and in person channels.
About You:
In order to hit the ground running you will bring:
- Strong communication skills
- A passion for Information Technology – you enjoy providing great technical support and generally solving technical issues.
- Experience using help desk ticketing software
- Experience with incident troubleshooting and escalation
- Understand emerging technology and end-user needs
- 3+ years in IT Service Desk, Desktop Support or similar experience.
- Hands on Experience with the following technologies
- Supporting users on Windows 10 and Office 365 environments.
- SCCM Software packaging and software deployments.
- Group policy customisation and creation.
- PowerShell Scripting
Preferred:
- Customer Services experience would be of benefit
- Experience providing IT support services to end users.
Qualifications & Knowledge
Essential:
- Intellectual curiosity with clear and logical way of approaching tasks and complex problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactively learns and trains others in support functions and new technologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to demonstrate Troubleshooting skills.
- High attention to detail whilst working on a wide range of support activities.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of ITILv3 or related service delivery frameworks
- IT Tertiary qualification or equivalent certifications are desirable
