The Company
If you are looking for an opportunity to learn and grow, this local Hamilton organisation needs a can-do self-starter, that loves tech and helping people to get stuck in and do the job.
About the Role:
- Technical Support for Automation Customers (Primarily products they sell, networking support, mix of windows and in the future Linux.
- Configuration/testing of customer equipment (eg deploying windows to computers, installing hardware, etc)
- Back office BAU (sending quotes, making quotes, managing email inbox as needed, updating SAP)
- Customer Service (answering automaton client inbound calls)
- Tech support for internal as needed (I may need them to check a printer or do something onsite, etc)
About you
- Enjoy interacting with people, empathy and willingness to support.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Great with people, excellent interpersonal skills
- Problem solver. Enjoy understanding requirements and convert to a solution.
- Strong command of English language.
Technical Qualifications
- A+, N+ type foundation knowledge
- Networking background/certification (CCNA type, FortiGate’s, Cambium wireless, moxa, etc)
