Temp of the Month - July 2019

AUCKLAND - Ben Velasquez

Ben started with our client in a project role but was quickly progressed into the main team due to his work ethic and efficiency. Ben is a quiet achiever who is unassuming but very hard-working. Our client had this to say in support of his nomination: ‘I think it’s a wonderful idea to nominate Ben. He has a great work ethic and has adapted well into the team. Initially, we had him just processing our backlog of invoices but he really picked up the process well and he is now in the AP team processing a portion of the vendor split and doing the whole AP process. He is very conscientious and hard-working so I think he deserves some recognition for this.’ Well done Ben!

WELLINGTON - Ngahuia Wright

Ngahuia joined Beyond Recruitment’s temporary staffing team in April and secured a role with Community Housing Aotearoa as an Executive Administrator. She quickly became a huge asset to the small office and helped with all email and phone queries, council meetings as well as update websites and newsletters. Most importantly she helped organise their big conference in June where she became the go-to person for queries, organization, and logistics. CEOs and managers from other organisations that attended the conference thought Ngahuia had been with Community Housing Aotearoa for years the way she conducted the conference with ease and confidence, especially when she saved the day with organising a last-minute cultural opener of the conference when the original one backed out. After this conference and her time in the temporary role, they hired her on permanently. Ngahuia has been an amazing temp for Beyond Recruitment and we wish her all the best with her new permanent role!
